“To lie in the soft brown earth,
with the grasses waving above one's head,
and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no tomorrow.
To forget time, to forgive life, to be at peace.”

They wait for their mistress
As a dog lover and 'mum' to two Silky Terriers, I was really touched by this marker. It is as though the two dogs are waiting for their mistress to take them for a walk. Notice the dog harness sculpted onto the side of the stone.
